MA Information & Referral (I&R) Program – The Information & Referral (I&R) Program is a free service that connects older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families with essential community resources.  Trained I&R Specialists provide personalized assistance to help individuals understand their options & access local services such as in-home support, healthcare, food, transportation, and more.  I&R also plays a vital role in supporting public inquiries before, during, and after emergencies by offering guidance on community resources such as shelter locations, pet care options, weather/storm preparedness, access to basic necessities, and instructions from local authorities.  I&R Specialists are expected to follow Inform USA guidelines, complete at least 40 hours of training annually, and are encouraged to pursue Inform USA certification to ensure high-quality, professional service delivery.

We’re grateful for your commitment to helping Massachusetts residents access the support they need!
